Born: March 4, 1945
My grandmother, Nancy Harris, was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 4, 1945. My grandma has a disease called Huntington’s Disease which causes her to not be able to do a lot of the things she enjoyed in her early life. She used to love to sew and was an excellent seamstress. She made my Baptismal dress, and she made all five of her children quilts. My grandma taught me how to be creative too. She also played on a girls’ hockey team, and she loved it! She has helped me through a lot of difficult family times. My grandma has had a positive impact on her family.
